I'm Alex, passionate about languages and traveling, I have been a workawayer before and I'm the one needing some help now, as someone working remotely at the moment and having no much time to finally work in my own project, a small house that we are conditioning to be a hostel. I am in the need for some experienced travelers with lots of ideas.
Help us in this journey and get to know Santa Ana and the rest of El Salvador in a very unique and different way- as a local.

Enjoy a truly local and unique experience; like heading out to the gorgeous coastline or shopping at outdoors markets. Savor traditional foods, indulge in refreshing beverages at a neighborhood bar and perhaps even play some billiards. You can do all this, and more, by walking around the house or grabbing a ride and local transportation. Having worked as a tour guide in the past, I still enjoy showing guests around the city, and if my work schedule allows it. I can join you on beautiful trips all over El Salvador. I am easy going, flexible and would love to get to know you at my guests house. ¡Gracias!

We provide some groceries during the week. The workawayers will stay in shared bedroom. But that never happens so you will have a room for yourself. Reminder: You will be cooking for yourself too.
There are plenty of activities to do in Santa Ana, stroll through the small and unique streets of the town. There you will discover local crafts while picking up food and some of the freshest fruits and veggies the region has to offer. We have the Santa Ana Volcano which is also the ideal destination for those who enjoy hiking in a pleasent cool weather. Coatepeque Lake, ranked among the most beautiful lakes of the world. At night do not feel like you need to stay at home. There are plenty of things depending on what you enjoy. From having a beer in one of the bars around town or having delicious snack from one of the many different restaurants.
We are into surfing, skateboarding, downhil skateboarding and many another extreme passions. In case you share the same life style. ;)
