Chenoa was one of our best workaway. She took care very well of our daughter Janice especially when she was sick. She adapted herself to our way of life. She also was great with our cat Fifi. You can really trust her!

Milena est resté chez nous pour 10 jours environ. Elle a été très discrète et s'est très bien adaptée à notre vie dans notre petit appartement et s'est très bien occupée de Janice. Staying with Carole, Oliver and Janice was a pleasure. I stayed with them for about 6 weeks and they let me fell right away at home. Looking after Janice felt easy, because she knows her routine and is used to be alone (for maybe 2 days) with a Workawayer.
I was able to do a intensive french language cours plus activitys with the people I met.
… read more The communication was always good. The flat is a bit outside of the city centre but with the bike it was still easy to get there in about 20 min.

Gilian est venue s occuper de notre chat Fifi durant notre absence. Nous n avons passé que quelques heures ensemble avant notre départ et c est dommage car nous aurions aimé la connaître plus car nous l avons beaucoup apprécié. I was very touched when Carole suggested that I come to look after their cat, even though the week I applied to Workaway happened to fall when they were away on holiday. Thus it was just myself and Fifi at home, which of course allowed me to spend lots of time exploring the area.

… read more other Workawayers have already written, they are very friendly, interesting, helpful and easygoing. The apartment is comfortable and quiet, next to a lake, with supermarkets and a library nearby and a wonderful restaurant with excellent value lunches.
Fifi warmed to me slowly but steadily, and was soon purring and getting onto my lap. She is a delightful and easy companion.

Ma première expérience comme workawayer a été magnifique et c'est très bien passée! Je ne pouvait pas demander mieux! Carole et Oliver ont toujours étés très gentils et sympas avec moi, et j'était bien à l'aise avec eux. Ills m'ont souvent aidé à découvrir la merveilleuse ville de Bordeaux, en me donnant plusieurs conseils sur les choses à faire
… read more et voir. C'était un échange culturel très agréable! Nous avons parlé beaucoup, partagé des idées et ri ensemble. J'ai donc aussi eu la possibilité de m'exprimer en français et de renforcer cette langue. Quant à Janice, elle est une petite fille adorable, calme, aimable et bien elévée. Nous avons partagé de bons moments, en jouant ensemble, en lisant quelques livres et en parlant de tout! Elle est si douce et patient qu'il était un plaisir de la garder.
