Howdy!
I have been an itinerant horseman for the past five years, traveling around the country many times over. I mostly train and sell horses, but I also enjoy guiding and have developed, managed, and consulted for trail outfit programs around the country, aside from managing small ranches (I typically manage the ranch while I am training the horses, as a complete package).

I am currently in Indiana working through a string of about 15 horses. The current plan is to hit the road in November without any particular direction. I do not have any horses or pets with me. I have a small camper trailer that I live in spring through fall; but it is not insulated (and is a 1969 model) and although I have slept through -20 F weather with a small space heater, my days of extreme ascetic practices (imagine also throwing a bed roll next to a horse on the range during a storm with a tarp pulled overhead) and proving something to myself are behind me: I require modern accommodations during the winter.

I have been on ranches my entire life, having ridden my first horse as a toddler. However, I have lived around the country pursuing other professions: a professional ballroom dance instructor for a decade (much less since COVID and being on the road ); a software engineer for 4-5 years (.NET/Angular); an entrepreneur for 15 years, starting with a wholesale/retail pet food company.

I try to find new challenges all the time. Ennui follows me wherever I go--I do not like becoming complacent and idling away.

I live to make connections. I will always continue to love, build character and share laughter with strangers. I have been doing Couchsurfing and Workaway for over a decade.
