  Description

  Hello and welcome. I have a home right on the edge of downtown Dawson City and am building another house on a property nearby. I am very busy in the community so I am often short of time to get many projects done. In exchange for some basic accommodations, I would only be asking for some occasional help in the yard, with carpentry projects, or other activities depending on your skills. I am only a short walking distance from downtown Dawson City so no vehicle is needed (but if you have one there is room for it).

  I am a long-time resident of Dawson City with lots of connections and stories to share. I speak English but can also get by with a bit of French and Spanish too. I have a lot of outdoor projects and various tools to get them done, so you will be able to learn a lot if you want to. Or just help me out a bit here and there in exchange for a place to live!

  I am very busy in the summer so I am mainly looking for help including yard work, carpentry, and general labour depending on the your skills. T
  
  here may also be camera help needed if you have those skills, as I am also involved in various local community multi-media projects (editing or videography skills would be an asset).

  Hébergement

  Private Wall Tent with lock, power, blue jug water, small fridge, and outhouse OR a truck camper OR inside a small home under construction (with electricity and plumbing soon), depending on season and where project(s) are at. The host’s house is a short walk away and most often the place where meals will be shared.

  There will be lots of time off for you to do your own thing. As my place is in downtown Dawson City but off the beaten path, you will have the benefits of semi-country living while having easy access to this northern cosmopolitan town. Your accommodation area is quiet so you also have the option to just stay around the place and work on your own art or carpentry projects.
  
  Accommodations are not deluxe. No smokers or partiers please.
