Hi! I’m Yanxu from China, currently travelling and living in New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa.

I’m a friendly, responsible and easy-going person. I enjoy travelling, exploring new places, making crafts, journaling and trying new things. I also love animals and enjoy spending time with them.

My English is not very good yet, and I’m still learning and improving it. I may be a little shy when communicating at first, but I’m willing to learn and practice. Even if my English is not perfect, I will always try my best to communicate and understand what needs to be done.

I’m happy to help with cleaning, housework, cooking, gardening, looking after pets, or other everyday tasks. I’m responsible and hardworking, and I’m willing to learn new things. I may not have experience with everything, but if you show me how to do something, I will do my best to learn and help.

This is my first Workaway experience, and I’m looking forward to meeting new people, experiencing everyday life in New Zealand, learning about different lifestyles and improving my English through real-life communication.

I’m hoping to find a friendly and respectful host where I can contribute, learn new things and have a meaningful experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have some experience working in a café, including preparing simple drinks, packing coffee, cleaning and keeping the workspace tidy. I also have some basic coffee skills.

For household tasks, I can wash dishes, sweep, mop and keep the living space clean and tidy.

I enjoy creative activities such as crafts, journaling and making collages. I also love animals and would be happy to help with pet care.

I don’t have professional experience in farming, gardening or housekeeping, but I’m willing to learn. If you show me how to do something, I will listen carefully and do my best to help. I’m not afraid of trying new things or getting my hands dirty.
