Hi! I'm Victoria and I'm currently living in Boston, MA.

Some quick facts about me:
- From Rhode Island, USA.
- Interested in art and design, sustainability, mindfulness and living an active and healthy life.
- Main goal is to explore a new place, make meaningful connections, and focus on healthy living and eating.
- Professional experience in event management, graphic design, and marketing

I have two years of experience in graphic design and am now an Event Manager at a non-profit in Massachusetts. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Graphic Design from Northeastern University in Boston. I can help with event planning, event management, websites, photography, advertisements, and other marketing and design-related tools. Most importantly, I'm someone willing to help in any way I can and I am a fast and enthusiastic learner. I'm thankful for the opportunity to experience the world through Workaway and look forward to speaking with you! :)

I am drawn to the "new". I am someone who has a passion for learning and if you don't see what you're looking for in the experience I have below, trust me... I will do my absolute best to learn it!

Below are all sorts of things I've learned through work, volunteer and other experiences that I can help with:

- pet-sitting
- capable and safe driver
- paddle-board instructing
- odd jobs like truck washing, painting, sanding
- food prep (in homeless shelters and also plant-based meals for myself, family and friends)
- front desks and welcome centers, I'm a people person!
- can drive a dinghy/am comfortable on the water
- weeding and gardening
- art (signage, murals, and for fun)
- graphic design (can help with websites, social media, marketing in general)
- event management
- event planning

Just to remind you, I am interested in learning ANY kinds of new skills you're willing to teach me. I really just want to learn more about others' cultures and lives and share any skills that I can in return.

I love to stay active and typically go on a run or workout in some way most days. I also love to paint and make art, as well as read and journal. I'm very family-orientated and am looking to make strong connections throughout my stay.
