Hi everyone, I'm Tom, a solo traveller from Germany that's currently travelling around the world for a year. After 6 months of imcredible traveling around southeast Asia I'm coming to South America. I'm looking for a new experience, meaning I want to do more than just normal travelling around hustling from sight to sigth. I want to really experience a local community and I think workaway is the perfect solution for me. I want to do some kind of volunteer work to help other people with learning something also improve my language skills in Spanish.
I'm a very friendly, open minded guy and I like to meet new people. I'm always up for any kind of adventure that's not something casual that everybody does. One thing that I have learned during my travels is that it's the people you meet that really make your journey worthwhile! So I'm excited to meet some cool people around here and have a great time!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I've lived in France for 4 years and in Canada for 1 year I speak English and French fluently (and of course German). I'm a practical guy, I like to work with my hands on all kind of DIY projects. From woodworking up to small microcomputer I've done many projects in my home in Munich. I also have a degree in electronical engineering and worked in automation industry for a couple of years, but I've figured out that this isn't what I really want to do. I'm very organized and have also helped to manage a Kitesurf school in Thailand recently.

I'm very passionate about sports, I have played a bunch of different sports in my youth, manly ice hockey and soccer. Recently I have just learned Kitesurfing which is super fun, and I can also teach it. Im interested in all kind of sport activities and would be happy to teach other people sports or learn from them.
