Description
TITUS
Hey everyone! This is Titus--I've upgraded my account since my partner Chloe and I will be traveling together in the coming months.
I grew up in New Mexico, USA, moved to North Carolina for 2 years, did a year-long travel-volunteer program all over the USA (which is how Chloe and I met), and have been mostly workawaying for the past 2 years since that. I definitely have a love for traveling, experiencing new cultures, and living freely! I enjoy listening to music (and playing it!), being outside, and generally a laid-back sort of atmosphere. I have plenty of Workaway experience under my belt, as well as working construction, trail building, and general forestry, conservation-type work. I'm definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty, I prefer working outside to sitting in an office any day of the week and am always eager to learn new things!
CHLOE
"Work experience: I have worked in the US as an environmental engineer at a company focused on stormwater, stream restoration, and coastal resilience projects.
Travel experience: I have traveled mostly around the US - my family did a lot of road trips growing up, but lately I have been flying more to new places. I have taken two separate trips to Europe, but nowhere else internationally, so I’m excited to see new places and cultures.
Other volunteer experiences: I have volunteered with a variety of organization including food pantries, a robotics club, and free tax preparation. I also did a year-long volunteer program in the US where I learned a lot of hands-on skills including woodworking, construction, painting, gardening, and more. I am excited to find opportunities internationally where I can contribute what I know and learn new skills." -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have years of trail work and landscaping experience, and a decent amount of general outdoor knowledge. I also have some construction and carpentry experience, and pretty much any general manual labor. I have also been in leadership positions in multiple jobs in the past. I have worked in a lot of different physical and social environments, and I like to think that I am attentive, flexible and quick to learn new skills!

Autres infos...
I am a fan of Monopoly! That's the first thing that comes to mind :). I mentioned this is my description but I'll detail it more here; music is a huge part of my life. I play fiddle and guitar, and I sing. And I love listening to music, especially when other people play and show their talents.
Also, this is probably also relevant. I am often quite introverted, and while I do enjoy and thrive off of social gatherings and interactions, I definitely need my alone time to balance it out. -
