Description
Picturesque working Chicken Farm. Situated on the MORNINGTON PENINSULA. A stones throw to beautiful beaches wineries & cafes. We have 27'000 chickens, and a few cows. My husband is 66 and myself 63 we love to meet new people and hear their stories and have hosted overseas people on many occasions. We have four adult children all moved out of home Our farm is like a beautiful retreat, a place to take time off from travels and enjoy the swimming pool and all we have to offer We have a comfortable guest room
We only ever host for ONE WEEK and with ONE DAY OFF and provide Breakfast & Diner only.

If interested you could learn about how we run a chicken farm…however we would not expect you to work directly with the chickens. Two of our daughters are teachers who are passionate about their work, if they drop in while your here the conversation will be bright rich and fun.
Aide
We would love to have some assistance cutting splitting and stacking wood for our fire. Weeding...mowing ....brush cutting...poisoning the weeds......
There could be pool cleaning, house cleaning, painting.

Please consider, If you don’t have a car, it will take a bus trip then train, to get to Melbourne.
Check out on line the Mornington Peninsula and you will see what a diverse and lovely part of the world that we live in.
Keeping in mind a car is essential to see it other wise, the farm is a place for you to take a break for a week from your travels
Whilst we don't smoke some of our visitors have and we only ask that you smoke outside. We are not big drinkers however we like to have a couple of wines at night.

They worked tirelessly. We missed them when they left. Genuine kind lovely :) lovely couple.
Like a holiday from travelling. Super relaxed and loved. Lovely family and would be happy to see them again. Jan let me feel like home.
Very nice property that we were able to visit in quad. Jan and Chris are very attentive and we were able to share a lot of things together. They have two adorable dogs and 27000 chickens, where Jan took the time to make us visit their structure.
