Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile!

I left the USA and started doing workaway and traveling solo in July 2025, loving the journey between hostels, workaway hosts, and friends' houses. Since September 2025, I have enjoyed living in Western Ireland, but I have decided to head to NZ in May on a working holiday visa. In Ireland, I worked on a dairy farm, in cafes, and in a bakery.

I'm 25 years old, a lifelong gardener, adventurer, animal whisperer, hiker, and nature lover. I enjoy getting my hands dirty and exchanging skills, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures; I'm quite good with electronics, tools, and general handyman work. I have references available for house sitting, gardening/landscaping projects, professional management, and pet sitting.
I was born in North Carolina, USA, but have spent part of my life in England and hold dual American & British citizenship.
I am educated in environmental studies/sustainable systems with deep knowledge in horticulture, permaculture, energy systems, and composting. I also tutor English online as a part time job with children ages 6-16 as well as some adult students!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Experience with (power) tools, drilling, cutting, gardening, and building. I have built flower beds, raised gardens, planted fields, and sown seedlings.

Comfortable with livestock. In Ireland, I worked on a dairy farm milking cows, pasteurizing milk, and delivering milk to cafes and milk vending machines.

Licensed drone pilot. I have had my commercial drone license since 2021.

I am not only skilled outdoors- I am tech savvy, good at figuring out trouble with electronics; if someone is having phone or computer problems, I am the person my friends/family call. I also build computers.

Intermediate sailor, I sailed throughout my youth on lakes in small to medium-sized boats. Know how to tie knots, rules of the water, and basic sailing rigging.

Hosting Jake was a pleasure. He is very easy going and friendly with everyone, including our guests. Jake is not afraid of trying any local dish, even the weird ones. He helped me a lot on some landscaping projects and was very responsible housitting and taking care of the animals during my short absence. Highly recommended!
