My name is Stefano, I’m 34 years old and I come from Italy. In the past, I’ve had some amazing experiences with Workaway (especially during a fantastic year spent in Australia) that really hold a special place in my heart. They allowed me to meet incredible people and learn new skills.
​Right now, I'm not able to travel due to work and studies, but I still love browsing the website, checking out new projects, and, most of all, keeping the travel spirit alive by connecting with other Workawayers.
​So, if you are planning to visit Northern Italy or are passing through my area, feel free to write me! I'm always happy to chat, give some local tips, or show you around.
I’m a curious and adventurous person, always looking for new experiences and opportunities to learn and grow. My main passion is education: I’ve studied and worked in this field as an educator and primary school teacher. I enjoy applying my skills in different contexts and making a positive impact on children’s lives.
At the same time, I’m open to learning new activities and challenging myself in different areas. I love traveling and believe that places come to life through the people who live in them. That’s why I look for experiences that allow me not only to visit new places, but also to connect with the everyday life and people behind them. This is the spirit with which I approach Workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My work experience is primarily in the field of education. I have worked as a professional educator and primary school teacher. I enjoy interacting with and supporting children and adolescents in their developmental stages, and I firmly believe in the importance of healthy relationships for personal growth and well-being. Additionally, I love being outdoors and, whenever possible, I try to integrate outdoor activities into my work and daily life. I have good experience with long-distance walks, such as the Camino de Santiago, and I can provide any information you may need if you are interested.

I have extensive experience as a football referee, having officiated amateur, youth, and semi-professional matches for many years.

I am excited to apply these skills to new challenges, especially in educational or community projects. In addition to offering my expertise, I am eager to learn new skills in fields different from those I have worked in so far. I am open to any exchange and type of help that may be required. I love traveling and believe that places come alive through the people who inhabit them. Workaway offers a wonderful opportunity not only to visit new places but also to connect with local communities and contribute meaningfully.
