Description

My name is Shannon Cardella. I created an account on workaway because I love to explore the world around me. I made that decision because I have a strong passion to learn more about myself, develop my self, and work in a community. In addition, I want to travel because I want to learn about different cultures and lifestyles. These reasons speak volumes as to who I am as a person. I am a person who loves adventure, freedom, exploration, and I love challenging myself. Therefore, I am truly excited and grateful to meet those whom I connect with over this webiste.

In the past I have worked on 6 farms. I have done various projects over the course of my time at each farm. Many of the work included farm work: weeding, trimming, planting crops, harvesting crops, housework, and cooking. I have many qualities as a worker that makes me a great candidate. I am organized, committed, personable, and I have strong communication and leadership abilities. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

1. I have one year of experience gardening at other people’s farms. In addition, I have been growing my own herb garden for 1 year.
2. I have been cooking for myself for 2 years. I live a completely plant-based (vegan diet) and I almost never purchase any prepared meals. I cook almost every thing from scratch. In addition, I have more cooking experience from some of the jobs I have worked at.
3. I am really physically fit. I have helped people on other farms and people in my close circle with manual labor jobs and I enjoy it. I have little carpentry experience, therefore I would have to learn some skills to build things.
4. I am an awesome cleaner. Keeping a place tidy, orderly, organized and clean is a speciality of mine.

I have previous work exchange experience. I have worked on 6
different farms throughout California. I believe this experience has made me very comfortable being in new locations and meeting new people.
