Description

My name is Sergio Basma and I am travelling for the first time alone, which I am very excited about. I love spending time with others and consider myself outgoing and social. Discovering cultures, having new experiences and meeting new and interesting people on the way fills me with joy. I am spontaneous and open-minded and am grateful for every experience which shows me new perspectives and grows me as a person.

I finished studying in 2023 and have been working as a barista and behind a bar. I am very into music and reading and am always up for conversations about books and music. That being said I enjoy conversations about anything, and love exchanging stories and discussing just about anything. Also, I am quite sporty - whether its football, hiking, swimming, volleyball or surfing (still a work in progress). I am always up for a fun time... if its partying and dancing, making music, hiking and exploring, cooking together or just chatting.

I am enthusiastic about working and supporting projects, learning new skills and gaining knowledge. I am a motivated quick learner and take responsibility very seriously. I have experience working a multitude of jobs: gardening, all areas of hospitality, in the kitchen, handiwork and babysitting. Working outdoors with nature or learning how to cook local cuisines particularly excites me. Overall I am very flexible and happy to help in any way.

I would love to improve my language skills (all languages interest me) and would be happy to teach English and Spanish as I am fluent in both.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in multiple hospitality jobs doing multiple roles, such as making coffee and food, working behind the bar, waiting, serving, administration, receptionist and cleaning. I am food safety trained and am very competent in the kitchen. I have experience of photography and have experience of managing a shops social media, which involved editing videos. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have experience tutoring. I am a musician, concentrating mostly on piano. I have a driving license. I am a competent gardener with experience in multiple areas such as planting, harvesting, trimming and general care. I have painted walls on multiple occasions, have experience creating objects with wood (a table and a chair), and can crochet.
