I live with my son in a house I bought 6 years ago. My home needs renovation - build up transformation. We create as much as possible with recycled and eco materials. There is a lot of gardenwork and we work inside on rainy days, already seing nice results which gives hope. Financial shortage does not stop me from continuing slow steps.

I made a little foodforrest and try to garden as far as possible permaculture-wise. A little pond gives us the chance to take a fresh cold dip winter - summer and is also a habitat for the little life as frogs, salamanders,...

Our gardenmates are Ayo and Mishmoesh = cats and Cita and Apuni = chickens and a hedgehog visitor and recently discovered watersalamanders :-).
My garden wants to be wonderous chilly and self-sufficient as possible - permaculture.
The house I'd like to make a zen-place for my family, friends and soulpeople who like to share music, high vibrations, art, healing, creation ... I want it to ray positive vibes with cosy wandering corners and no borders. You're welcome :-)

There are a lot of different doing-things. We start with little easy things to get to know each other, learn and explore skills, to make sure it is safe working. Also tell me what you love doing and your talents, it may be fun too. Some are independed tasks and some we do together.
I ask for 5 hours work/ day as a good balance and we agree together your free days to go out and visit other locations. So it fits in both our scedule and apointments. Day of arrival and day of depart you don't work so count that in please to have a fair amount of days work. Counting on your own responsibility for that.

Staying here means you are part of the 'tribe' and automatically contribute with cooking, dishes, cleaning, etc... The logic things that happen when you live somewhere.

Every week we evaluate how things go so we can make good understandings, communicate open and connective, redirect where necessary to all be happy in the same place.

Before coming to our place I'd like to make a videocall together so we can talk easier and see what matches. Via Telegram, Signal, Skype or Zoom is possible. Tell me what you prefer please.

I can share vegan (+ gluten- & wheatfree when preferred - paying supplement) food/meal 3 times/day in the 5 days work, we can cook togetter, music and maybe have a campfire-evening. Snacks and extra's are on your count. Food when you go out is on your count.

Don`t expect luxury, you will find creativity instead.

I am very socialminded (47) and love to make authentic connection - play - listen music - .... at the same time juggling with all the work so I also need some time for myself to load up. I`d love to sit and share interests togetter sometimes, learn and hear your life-story-ideas. I also suggest you take your own rest, passion to my home or discover one :-)

Sleeping at this moment is possible in the caravan (when available) or in the garden - tent, as preferred.

Please bring eco bathproducts in our house , water runs directly to the river in our street and is not purified before.

You can smoke outside.

Here I am new but I look back with good memories and lovely experiences to all the people that helped me out via helpx with this big project. They have filled it up with positive vibes I can still feel. Greatfull!

I take icebath daily in my pond in the garden. Please join for 2' a day to pump up that dopamine/ happiness vibes. With Ice-bath I mean the cold water at temperature outside (without extra ice), healthy to train.

There is a lot here to explore in the neighbourhood, forests, sea, cultural events, dance-events, ceremonies,..

To give you an idea. At this moment: different (un)visible work :-)
Woodwork, sand paint away from wooddoor, clay(loam) some walls, clean and join the outside-walls with sort of 'cement' together, finish wood on the attick,... allround a bit of everything I am working on :-)

I discovered some humidity-problems I don't know yet what to do with that...

Garden help: weeding, planting, watering,..(spring-summer)
I'd like to build a piramid in my garden to garden and sit in (for energy-purpose)
If you have the knowledge: design and help with my vegetable-garden permaculture-wise and finish the new pool (springtime)
making a chickenswing, making compostboxes, vegetablestuff planting .

(also: electricityskills are very welcome and someone who has experience placing window in the outsidewall)

You can sleep in the caravan (when available) or in a tent in the garden.
You have a matras, blankets and pillow available to sleep and space for your stuff and privacy,
Ask me what is needed on forehand so we can see what is possible.
We eat plantbased. I eat glutenfree, don't smoke or drink, and that feels great :-)

The kitchen is available, bathroom, meditationroom and garden.
You can use the washingmachine for clothes. There is wifi available.

The nearest station is Diksmuide, 10km from my place. Renting green bike at station Diksmuide possible at 1 euro/day.
Let's agree which days you want to have free so we can plan our apointments.
Transport from the station is by car, I'll bring you, bike is available.
