Description

We are Camila and Sebastian, Argentinians with Italian citizenship. We have been living in Italy since 2022. We are passionate travellers and digital nomads. Camila is a psychologist, Sebastian is a lawyer who works as a legal advisor for advertising Out of Home OOH companies.

We left our home country in search of living something different, with a strong desire to travel and learn. We needed a change of course, a fresh start. We wanted to explore the world in search of new horizons and challenges that would motivate us to continue to grow both personally and professionally.

We signed up in Workaway because we believe that it is a good tool to meet new people, learn and strengthen languages, discover places and live experiences that are similar and related to our interests and desires, to our enormous curiosity, to our desire to learn and thus be able to develop new skills and competences in order to open doors and treasure memorable memories for our lives.

We love to travel, immerse ourselves in the local culture and customs of each new place we visit, meet new people and share moments, surround ourselves with fun and interesting people. We are sociable, empathetic and open-minded people.

We like to be in nature, we enjoy outdoor activities, hiking, exploring, watching sunsets, the sea, the mountains and the snow.

We are passionate about good wine, good food and hospitality. We are enthusiastic and motivated to work or do activities in these areas, and to interact with people who are related to them.

Camila was born in a small town growing up in a family with a strong Italian background, with a great enthusiasm for gastronomy and hospitality. At the age of 18 she moved to Buenos Aires to study and work.
Her great passion: cooking. She enjoys researching and learning about food, products and recipes. Also improvising with what she has at the moment, she likes to be creative. And of course she loves eating, especially that food that tastes like home, that makes you travel back in time awakening sensations, and reminding you of people and places.
She loves to entertain, to have people gathered enjoying a good meal and long talks, with eternal conversations about life, trips, food, music, projects, wine, etc.
Last year she worked as an aiuto cuoco in a Locanda in Tuscany. With no previous professional experience, but with a lot of enthusiasm and willingness to learn, she was able to take on the challenge. Having the opportunity to work alongside a Tuscan chef and coordinating the work in the kitchen was one of the best experiences of her life and the fulfilment of a great dream. She wishes to continue to gain experience and learn in this field.

Sebastián was born in Buenos Aires and grew up going regularly to the family farm.
He likes sports, swimming, horse riding, and hiking. He enjoys outdoor work such as gardening (mowing lawns, watering and pruning plants) and farm work (working with animals, driving small tractors).
He is passionate about ‘asado’, he likes to grill meat Argentinian style, on the barbecue or on the flame.
Emigrating to Italy made it possible for him to deepen his interest in the world of wine and viticulture in particular. Last year he had the opportunity to work in the restaurant of a winery in Tuscany, in the Chianti Classico region.
He worked as Capo sala and manager of the shop. For that he had to learn and deepen his knowledge as he had to provide information to the customers about the wines. It was a very rewarding experience that he enjoyed very much and that confirmed even more his desire to continue learning about this field.

Camila:
- She is a sociable, communicative, collaborative and helpful person.
- She has a facility for dealing with other people, always looking for a cordial, friendly, polite and friendly relationship.  She has experience in listening, assistance, and problem solving.
- Has the ability to work under pressure, autonomously and dynamically. She is also very efficient at following instructions.
- She is responsible and organised; She loves to plan meticulously, reflect, and evaluate before making decisions. She is in charge of putting together each trip we make, she is a great researcher.
- She is a proactive person with a marked attention to detail, very curious and she is always wanting to learn and improve herself. She is persevering and tenacious
- She has talent in task coordination and organisation.
- She also has manual skills, she loves furniture restoration works (sanding, painting, patinate). She has taken a course on this and has restored some of the furniture in her house. She enjoys contributing to interior design planning.

As Seba is a digital nomad working remotely, it’s important for him to have a good internet connection.

We have our own car, so mobility is not a problem for us.

We both have working permits for European Union. Italian citizenship.
