Description

Hello,

I am Ribin, a nature lover, travel enthusiast and aspiring artist! I am a relaxed and simple person, super easy (and fun) to get along, at the same time committed to every endeavor I take up. Completing given tasks with maximum dedication is my specialty. That was the basic description about myself :)

After having worked as a robotics researcher at the space agency of Germany (DLR) for 12 years, I am planning to take a break and add more experiences in my life. I would like to do work-aways, learn art and travel to different places, learning new languages. I can already speak 5 languages, including German, Italian and 2 Indian languages. I live in Germany for 14 years and hold a German passport. I have worked in an international environment all these years and have really close connections with my friends from many cultures, especially, Italian, Spanish and German.

Now, I am looking forward to going back to nature and living a simpler life. As a work-awayer, I am looking forward to combining my love for nature and passion for sustainability. I would love to work in/with the soil - particularly gardening or organic farming of vines, olives, fruits, berries etc. - or with animals. I maintain a healthy lifestyle and have good physical fitness, so I should be able to help with physical activities.

As an engineer and researcher, I have technical and practical skills that I can support the hosts with. Also being an artist, I am good at working with my hands and do-it-yourself projects. I connect deeply with people, irrespective of the age. Connecting with people, learning from everyone, gives me the most happiness! :)

I have a TEFL diploma to teach English as a foreign language. I can teach English to beginner to upper-intermediate level students. I can also teach German, Italian and Hindi to beginner level students.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Being an artist, I am good at working with my hands and do-it-yourself projects. Over many years, I have been helping friends during moving in/out. These include:
- Painting houses
- Moving and fixing furniture
- Gardening

I have worked as an engineer and researcher, which also gives me technical skills that I can use/teach.

As a child, I have worked a lot in my garden with my mother in India and with also have experience taking care of animals.

I am a good cook (mainly indian food) and I am self-sufficient when it comes to preparing my food. I am looking forward to cooking together with my hosts and learning new cuisines from them.
