Infos
 - Description- Hi, I’m Demiah, living in Boxtel, the Netherlands. Since Netherlands is a small country, you can easily travel to tourist places within the country. I’m married to Daan Gauw, and together we have three wonderful young children, aged 12, 8, and 4.
In addition to family life, my husband and I run a foundation called Clean Up The World. Our mission is to promote environmental awareness and responsibility, working towards a cleaner and greener planet. - Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre- As the festive season approaches, we’re excited to share our plans for the coming months! In the Netherlands, we will be celebrating Sinterklaas, a beloved national holiday filled with tradition and joy, alongside Halloween, a time for fun and creativity. These celebrations offer a great opportunity for community engagement and festive cheer.
In addition to these celebrations, our foundation will be actively involved in organizing cleanup events throughout our village. This coming September 21st until 28th, we have a sustainability festival called Groener Gras and we are helping organizing the event. These events are not only a chance to contribute to a cleaner environment but also an excellent opportunity to interact with local residents and strengthen community ties.
We warmly invite you to join us in these activities. Whether you're looking to experience local traditions or engage in meaningful environmental work, our events provide a wonderful way to connect with the community and make a positive impact.
 - Aide- I’m looking for assistance with some household chores, cooking, and picking up our kids from school and caring for them while we’re at work. The school is just a 5-minute walk away, and our children are very easygoing and respectful, making them a pleasure to care for. We only accept women guests.
 - Langues- Langues parlées

 - Autres infos...- We have bicycles available for you to explore our village and visit nearby tourist spots. We live close to Kampina, and the train station is just a 15-minute walk away, providing easy connections to various destinations.
We lead a simple, everyday life and have one house rule: we prefer not to use phones at the table.

It was my first workaway, and I was nervous because of the language barrier, but they were a loving family who welcomed me warmly. Daan is a kind person who cares about his family, and always makes me laugh with his funny jokes. I often go for walks and exercise with Demia, and she gave me the words I needed at… read more
Daan gave you that name because you are such a soft, sweet, and kind person. In Dutch, people often add “-tje” or “-je” to a name or word when they find something or someone cute or dear — and that fits you perfectly.
You were such a big help to our family, and we are truly grateful. From cooking delicious Japanese meals to helping… read more
