Description
Hi, I am Poppy, a 20 year old student based in the UK! I am bubbly, friendly and love meeting new people and exploring new places. I am fortunate to have travelled to a wide variety of countries and spent a year and a half living in Paris, France. The majority of my work experience has been working with children as I have been babysitting for 5 years, was a part-time nanny in Paris for a year and worked full-time in a nursery for 8 months, all of which I have massively enjoyed. I love spending time with animals of all kinds and in my spare time I love playing the piano, singing and dancing , I also love spending time cooking nutritious, vegetarian meals. In terms of what work I can do as a workaway volunteer I am very flexible, I have good knowledge of DIY, can care for children and animals and can help with gardening or renovations. I am fluent in English and learnt some French during my time in Paris, which I am very eager to improve! I hope you consider me as a workaway volunteer :)!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
My experience is mostly in childcare as I have been babysitting for 5 year for children aged 0-12 years, nannied part-time in France for a year and spent 8 months working full-time in a nursery, all of which I loved! I learnt many skills from my childcare experience including how to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and effectively teaching a variety of subjects. I have also gained my paediatric first aid qualification and have a DBS check! I also worked in a restaurant for 4 months which gave me many skills such as working in a high pressure environment and communicating effectively with both staff and customers.
