I have just graduated from high school in Anchorage, Alaska and now I'm looking for enriching opportunities to kick off my gap year. I love the outdoors and spending time in nature as well being active. I have a soft spot for delicious food and would love to learn more about sustainable ways to grow and transform produce into healthy meals. I have been learning Spanish since I was in pre-school and would love to have more opportunities to use this skill in real life settings. I have been living in Hawaii for three months and would love to sink my hands into some more hands on experiences.

I am a recent high school graduate hoping to gain some knowledge about the world and acquire new skills to carry me through lifelong adventures. I graduated with honors and am a fluent Spanish speaker. I have worked providing childcare since I was 14; I have worked as a a swim instructor as well as a summer camp counselor. For the last two years I have been working as a shift lead and farmers' market lead at a local micro-creamery called Wild Scoops. I love to travel and learn about the intricacies of new cultures and specifically the cuisine!

My goal is to find possible interests to further explore in college. I love being in nature and environmental sciences are appealing, but I would love to get some time working in such environments. I am a sucker for music and I can play the fiddle, guitar, and ukulele. I was a competitive swimmer for many years and really enjoy being in the water. I get along with animals well, especially cats!
