Hi! I'm Pauli-Baver, a Finnish soul with a warm heart, open mind and a deep love for meaningful connections. I’m someone who finds joy in small things – laughter, shared meals, helping hands, quiet moments in nature or creative work that brings people together.

I’ve worked with children, and caring for others comes naturally to me. I'm also passionate about learning new skills and stepping out of my comfort zone – whether it's helping with household tasks, gardening, cooking, or artistic projects. I enjoy photography, working with my hands, and being surrounded by kind and genuine people.

What makes me happy?
Feeling useful. Being trusted. Laughing with someone late at night. The sound of waves. Long conversations. Creating something beautiful, even if it's small. Helping someone and seeing it matter. Being part of something real – a community, a shared moment, a quiet understanding.



Hey! I’m Samuel, an active and positive guy from Finland who enjoys staying busy, moving my body, and helping others. I’m the kind of person who brings good vibes wherever I go – whether it’s through hard work, shared laughter, or just being present with people.

I have a strong work ethic and like to keep my hands occupied. I’ve done many kinds of jobs, from physical labor to team-based tasks, and I’m always ready to learn something new. I love being outdoors, working with others, and making sure things get done well.

Sports are a big part of my life – especially football – and I enjoy pushing myself to be better both physically and mentally. I believe in the power of community, movement, and positivity.



**How we can contribute to host projects**

We’re a motivated and positive-minded team, ready to jump in and help wherever we’re needed. We’ve selected a variety of help categories based on what we genuinely enjoy and have experience in – from hands-on physical work to creative and social tasks.

**What we’re confident with**
We’re both comfortable working independently with cleaning, organizing spaces, basic painting, gardening, carrying things, and general household help. One of us (Samuel) has done various physical jobs before – from renovation tasks to outdoor labor – and is a very hard worker who doesn’t need instructions repeated. He’s used to long workdays and keeping things moving efficiently.

The other (Pauli-Baver) has experience in childcare and working with young people, and can naturally step in to support with play, daily routines, and creative activities. I'm also skilled in photography and visual content creation, which can be useful if you need help capturing moments or improving your social media or website presence.

**What we’re eager to practice more**
We’d love to learn more about sustainable living, farming, small-scale building or renovation, and eco projects. Even if something is new, we’re fast learners, not afraid to ask questions, and always want to do things properly.

**Previous experience**
We’ve helped family and friends with moving houses, painting rooms, walking pets, taking care of children, assisting with parties and events, doing grocery runs, and even basic cooking. We’ve also worked in shared community environments and know how to be respectful, calm, and considerate guests.

We both have strong work backgrounds and a grounded attitude. Pauli-baver is currently studying to become a practical nurse (lähihoitaja) and also has training in safety and emergency response. He has experience in childcare, cleaning, organizing, customer service, and working with people from all walks of life. He’s caring, calm, and quick to adapt to different situations – and also has an eye for photography and creativity.

Samuel has completed high school and has worked a lot in construction, physical labor, customer service, and sales. He’s hands-on, physically fit, and always keeps a great attitude even during long or tough days. He enjoys staying active and is at his best when there’s something to do – especially outdoors or with tools in hand.

**Why we want to travel**
We both come from Finland, and we’re dreaming of experiencing new ways of life, warmer cultures, and deeper connections through slow travel. We’re especially drawn to Southern and Eastern Europe – Croatia, Italy, Greece, Portugal, the Balkans – because of their nature, hospitality, and relaxed atmosphere. Friends have shared amazing stories and now we want to create some of our own. Our main motivation is to *live*, not just visit – to take part, to help, and to learn along the way.

Our hobbies

In our free time, we both enjoy doing things that keep us active, creative, and connected.

One of us is into photography – especially capturing natural light, meaningful moments, and everyday beauty. Exploring new places with a camera is a big source of inspiration and joy.

The other one is passionate about football and sports in general. Staying physically active, playing in teams, and pushing personal limits through exercise brings a lot of motivation and balance.

We both enjoy meaningful conversations, being in nature, and trying out new skills together.
