Hello there! I will let you know a little bit about me .....

I am Nicola, I am 20 and from Scotland.

I consider myself quite a happy, friendly and active person. I started travelling when I turned 17, when I became and au pair in Italy. I worked as an au pair for 3 different families and spent around 9 months in Italy. After that I have spent my time travelling, volunteering and working.
I have came home many times, left many times and started university but left after only three months - least I tried.
Now I want to use workaway as much a possible to enable me to travel and learn more. I am especially interested in learning about farming/permaculture but any new skills to be honest. I always travel slow, spending weeks/months in some places, enjoying the simple stuff and meeting nice people.

I have used workaway numerous times now and it has definitely been some of my best moments travelling and also in my life. I also frequently use couchsurfing, so I am familiar with this type of experience.
I have had many jobs from bar tending, aupairing, waitressing, cleaning, being a cashier, a barista; and also many voluntary roles such as farming, teaching English, working with refugees and with a food wastage organisation.

I am young and healthy and like to be outside a lot and like the sun. Anything that involves being outside in nature or by the sea makes me happy. I do have many skills and a vast knowledge in many different areas, but I am always up for learning new things/skills.

I am an easy going,happy and positive person. I am hard working and always up for learning. I have a lot of experience working with people; children, foreigners, strangers, the elderly etc.. I really tend to get on with most people and find it easy meeting and living with people I don't know well.
I am willing to give everything a go.
