Description

Hello! We are a couple in our mid-twenties from Canada. Natalie was raised by the ocean and loves bringing creativity into all aspects of life. She was inspired to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and works at a non-profit improving community access to food. In her spare time, she creates art, tends to her garden and cherry tree, and tries different recipes. Vin has lived all over Canada and loves making new connections with people and places. He works as a nurse in the emergency department and is experienced with navigating challenging situations. Vin enjoys good food and wine, trying new activities, and building community. Together, we love to explore the outdoors and new cities. We are adventurous and often find ourselves hiking, dancing, and planning our next trip.

We are working, living, and playing in Japan for a year! We have always loved experiencing all that the world has to offer and are excited to learn something new everyday. We are quick learners and hard workers. Both of us have a valid Working Holiday Visa and International Driver's Permit. We look forward to meeting and working with you and your community.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Communication: Vin has worked as a workshop and event facilitator. Natalie has coordinated volunteers at work. We both have strong communication and team work skills required in our professions.
- Customer service: We both have extensive work and volunteer customer service experience, such as retail, food services, reception, and ticket sales.
- Problem solving: We both work efficiently under pressure and in difficult situations. Vin works as an emergency nurse which requires fast-paced problem solving.
- Cooking: We both enjoy cooking for ourselves and trying new recipes. We both have experience working in industrial kitchens and providing food services.
- Cleaning: Natalie has experience on Workaway as a housekeeper at various hostels. Vin is very tidy and finds cleaning to be therapeutic.
- Organizing: We are skilled at organizing physical spaces and events. We both have work experience facilitating large events.
- Gardening: Natalie has work and volunteer experience on farms. She also cares for her home garden. Vin loves to get outside and shovel dirt.
- Graphic design: We both have volunteer and work experiencing creating posters, infographics, and media content.
- Painting and drawing: Natalie has taken many art classes throughout her life. She regularly practices art in many mediums.
- Fitness: We are both physically active and fit. We can lift heavy objects and work in manual labor.
- First Aid Certification
- Valid International Driving Permit and Canadian Driver's License
