Description

My wife and I have been traveling for one year. We are originally from South Korea. I have worked as a computer teacher for almost 20 years, and my wife has been an English teacher in Korea for 20 years. We have planned to take a sabbatical year for one year. Through Workaway, we hope to improve our English speaking skills, meet people from different countries, engage in various conversations, and learn about their ways of thinking. Of course, economic reasons also play a part in our decision.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have knowledge in computer-related fields because I worked as a computer teacher for 20 years. While attending graduate school in the United States, I worked for over a year in the maintenance department, gaining relevant knowledge and experience. In Korea, I lived in a private house and built a storage house with a friend, which gave me hands-on experience in construction. I also have experience raising a dog as a pet and managing fruit trees planted around my house.

My wife is an English teacher, so she speaks English fluently. We decided to spend time in Germany so she can learn German more intensively. She enjoys cooking and is always eager to learn new recipes. She also has a deep love for music—she played the piano as a church accompanist for many years and is skilled at playing the recorder. She is open-minded, friendly, and gets along well with people from various backgrounds.
We lived in the United States for six years, and we love traveling and discovering new cultures. Sharing and learning from others has always been an important part of our journey.
