Hi everyone!

This is a dream coming true for me and my niece.

We are travelling together from the end of December 2025 till the begining of March 2026.

Our first stop will be San Francisco. We'll continue mid-January to San José del Cabo in Mexico.

At the beginning of January we'll be in San Cristóbal for a month to work at the reception.
After that, we still have 2 weeks when we would like to do another volunteer job.

We are very easy going people.

Lore is 22 years old.

She has already a lot of experiences.
She graduated in tourism in June 2025 and still want to enjoy some good time (with her godfather) before working.
She is fantastic ( of course, it's my niece! ), really! She can help you in many ways.
She speaks fluently French, English, Italian and Spanish and have already many experiences abroad.
She already worked at the reception too (in Barcelona) for 3 months and spent a year in Italy.
So, she can work at the reception or at a different position because she's open minded.

I'm 49 years old.

With me you can expect some experience and maturity, respect, a lot of motivation, a positive attitude and calm. I like to learn new languages or new skills.
I'm a sport teacher but actually, for the moment, I'm teaching Dutch and English to children. It's a long story I'll tell you if we have the chance to see each other.

I worked in hospitality (reception in a hotel),I worked as a guide abroad, I can help with light works in the house/hostel, I used to work in gardens (mowing grass, cutting hedges,...) .
I'm working as well as a guide and/or barman in a brewery.
I am a video editor beginner ( so is Lore ),... and I love to learn new things!

I like reading too. I love nature.

I love travelling.

When I was younger, I worked for about 6 years as a touristic guide on Kos (Greece) and Malta and continued as a touristic host for a travel agency (Croatia, Turkey, Egypte, Dominican Republic, Madera,...) and finallly ended up for a gap year in Australia.

What do we expect during this trip?

To meet people, to see new places, to listen to stories, to discover many new things, to improve my Spanish, my English or lean another language, to share my experiences (I'm 49) and other's experiences, and much more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We can both work as a receptionnist, welcoming the guests, but also cleaning the rooms and helping for anything else.
But I also like gardening, fixing some simple things, painting, cooking, cleaning,...
We love video editing! Even if we're beginners in it. We'll have our video cameras with us!
Anything we can help, we'll do it!
