Hi! I'm Milena,I'm 19 years old and graduated from swiss highschool in summer 2023 . I decided to start a gap year for now and go to university next autumn. This year, I want to collect experiences and impressions that help me grow and get to now new aspects of life.
I love to read, learn languages, sing, dance, listen to music, spend time in the calming nature, go for a walk with our dog, enjoy a cup of tee, play board games, do some crafting and meet my friends and family to do fun things. Wether it's baking or hiking together.
Sweden and France both have always been fascinating to me. I even wrote my final paper about swedish literature, and of course, Astrid Lindgren needed to be in it.
I started to love the french language in school. And since Switzerland is a multilingual country, I've always been in touch with french speaking people. I think that's why I always learned it with a lot of enthusiasm.
I'm a loving and warm person who loves to meet new kind people. Also, I like to invest time in personal relationships, rather than stick to small talk. I think, humour is one of the key aspects in social situations, that's why I think I'm able to laugh with everyone, even about the smallest things:)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I've spent a month working in a french speaking youth hostel, I'm familiar with easy going hotel business. I started working for the catering company that organizes football matches in my hometown two years ago, to earn some money beside school, so I know basic gastronomy skills. Also, I do babysit two little kids (1&3 years old) from time to time and love to read to them, play with them and basically take care of them in general. With two other young dancers, I helped leading a kids dance group and got to know a bit more of pedagogy.
I also love to create things and be creative at all. Wether it's little things like crocheting/sewing or doing interior design, as i must say, that I'm not that keen on renovating houses but if you'd like to show me some skills, I'd love to learn!

  I do have some intolerances due to my irritable bowel syndrome (p.ex. raw dairy products, apricot and some other that are easy to avoid for me). I don't expect you to follow my eating needs but I need you to respect them so I can stay healthy:)
