Hi! We’re Katya and Maria, two friends from Ukraine who love discovering life through creativity, people, and new experiences. We spent the last year living in Spain, where we fell in love with the slower rhythm of life, nature, and all the little everyday moments that often become the biggest inspiration.
Creativity is a big part of who we are. We love noticing beauty in simple things, observing people, colors, and emotions, and finding inspiration in everyday life. We also enjoy practicing yoga, which helps us stay grounded and appreciate the present moment.
Katya is a vegan, an upcycling designer and stylist who loves giving clothes a second life by creating unique pieces from existing garments. She also loves spending time with children and animals and is always happy to help take care of them. Maria enjoys learning new things, connecting with people and bringing warmth and positivity wherever she goes.
We’re open-minded, curious and easygoing people who genuinely enjoy meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, cooking together, spending time in nature and having meaningful conversations. We like helping wherever we're needed, learning new skills and bringing positive energy to the people around us.
We’re looking for authentic experiences rather than just places to stay. For us, Workaway is about exchanging kindness, learning from each other and creating meaningful memories together. We hope we can share a little part of that journey with you.

We are two creative women united by a deep passion for art, mindfulness, and conscious living. Our work combines creativity, aesthetics, and inner wisdom, allowing us to create spaces and experiences that inspire beauty, harmony, and awareness.

Our artistic background includes drawing, mural painting, sewing, and creative recycling (upcycling), where we thoughtfully transform materials into meaningful and beautiful creations. Through art we express stories, emotions, and the subtle connection between people and their environment.

We also have experience in social media management and visual storytelling, helping to share projects in an authentic and aesthetic way.

We are open-hearted, respectful, and responsible people. For us, Workaway is a beautiful exchange — a chance to help, share our creativity and kindness, and learn new things with joy while creating a warm and positive atmosphere together
