Description
Hello Workawayers!
Thank you for taking your time to read about my project .
I'm Simon, co-founder of a social innovation project based in Medellín, Colombia.
The vision is to create freedom of movement for people with disabilities through our electric devices that attach to manual wheelchairs. Other than that we're working on creating a accessibility map, making it easier to move around the city in a wheelchair.
It's more than a device — it’s a movement.
We have 10 locally paid staff members and still growing! Our work is accessibility, design, community, and impact. We collaborate with universities, public institutions, and NGOs to promote inclusive mobility, create educational experiences, and empower individuals to live more independently.
We are interested to collaborate with creative, curious, and motivated people — whether it’s through design, media, mechanics, social media, marketing, UX, storytelling or just your passion for helping others and creating social impact.
Every day is different, from marketing ideas to hosting tours and events and much more.
Come help us rethink mobility, grow our movement, and build a more inclusive society!

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Cultural exchange is part of our everyday life. We’re based in Medellín, one of the most vibrant, creative, and welcoming cities in Latin America — and we love sharing that energy with people from around the world.
You’ll be working closely with a team of local designers, engineers, artists, social changemakers, and people from the community.
We often have team lunches, work from parks or cafés, community events, and tours in the city — and you’re always welcome to join in.
We can share:
- Spanish language practice and a lot of Colombian slang :D
- Knowledge about social entrepreneurship, design, accessibility and more
- A look into what it means to build a social impact project from scratch
In return, we love to learn from your perspective, culture, skills and ideas — whether it’s how you think, how you see the world, or how you tell a story.
We are looking forward to hear from you!
Best regards,
Simon
