Hello, my name is Marie, im 20 years old and come from Denmark. Through our Working Holiday Visa , Me and my friend Katrine are traveling through New Zealand From January to March 2025.

Katrine and I have known each other for 8 years and have always shared a big interest of exploring the world. Both of us went inter-railing for 5 weeks in the summer of 2023, where we explored a more superficial side of the countries we visited. Both of us agreed on that we wanted to dig more into one countrys cultural aspects - and we landed on New Zealand. Therefore we are looking for a job for both of us.

About me:
I live in the county-side of Denmark - on a small little farm with my dad and in an apartment in a town with my mum.I would describe myself as cheerful, empathic and patient.

Currently im taking a gap year after i finished highschool in 2023. In highschool i chose the class mainly focused on the world in an international point of view which included focus on politics , social conditions and economy. When traveling i try to find the hidden gems in the side streets and discover an authentic part of an area.

I really enjoy adventures, being productive and im the most happy if i have a project to spend my time on no matter if its big or small. I will gladly take a job which can put me out of my comfort-zone and help me learn something new about myself or others.

I have always liked the language classes in school because i think being able to talk different languages are a way to open up new doors to new worlds. Going to New Zealand is for me a way to practice my english. My boyfriend is from Germany and we currently communicate in english and I would love to take up a step and make my english more fluent.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with cleaning jobs, customer management and childcare. My previous job as a production- and warehouse employee also taught me how to be dexterous and work with simple tasks for several hours. Previous job experiences have also taught me to be more independent in solving tasks and be result-oriented. I also like working in groups, because i like to learn from others.
