Hi! :) My name is Luka, I’m 21 years old and originally from Croatia. I recently finished a degree in psychology and am currently exploring new ways to grow, by contributing , learning languages, and meeting people from different walks of life, before I start my masters abroad next year.

In my current phase of life, I feel a strong need to step outside my familiar surroundings and experience life from a new angle. I’m not just looking for a change of place, but a change of rhythm, perspective, and connection. Being in a new environment allows me to listen more closely, notice more deeply, and grow beyond what I’ve known, and I believe that sharing daily life with others in a different culture is one of the most meaningful ways to do that!

I consider myself peaceful, caring, open-minded, and thoughtful. I enjoy being around people and listening, but I’m also independent, proactive and not afraid of physical work, no matter if its helping in the kitchen, playing with children, gardening, or learning something completely new, I bring a curious mind and a kind heart to every experience!

My studies and internship in child therapy taught me the value of patience and presence. Right now, I’m especially interested in volunteering in Norway, not only because of its colder climate and nature which appeals to me, but also to improve my Norwegian by having conversations with natives (currently B1), and experience daily life through real contribution. I’m flexible with location, time and tasks, and I am not new to solo travelling abroad and can easily find my way round. I would greatly appreciate a meaningful exchange!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and enjoy working with people of all ages. Through my psychology studies and a 480-hour internship in child therapy, I developed patience, empathy, and sensitivity to others' needs. I’ve also worked as a team lead of a remote talent implementation agency, which taught me responsibility, communication, and staying calm under pressure. I’m good with daily tasks like cooking, organizing, and working with my hands, whether in the garden or around the house. I am always open to learn and catch on quickly, I stay positive in new situations, and bring care and structure to everything I do.
