We want to really immerse ourselves in the culture, learn the language and connect with locals . As students in our gap year we want to spend the time making life-lasting memories and simply have fun.

Description

We are Marie and Eva, and we come from a small village in Upper Austria. We are neighbors and have known each other our whole lives. We have always been in the same class and spend almost every day together. That is why we also want to start this journey together.

We are similar in many ways, yet we are still different individuals who each bring our own strengths and qualities.

Marie is interested in politics and world affairs. She is curious, ambitious, and intelligent. She enjoys going for walks in the forest because being in nature helps her clear her mind. She is adventurous, open-minded, and inquisitive. She is a safe space for Eva. Together, it is easier for us to be brave and to make new friends.

Eva is very creative. She paints a lot and loves writing poetry. She also inspires Marie to be more creative. We often go on trips together and share many experiences. Just like Marie, Eva loves spending time in nature. Both of us enjoy reading and exchanging our thoughts about books.

We want to break out of our daily routine, experience new cultures, and learn new languages. Marie is a wonderful cook, and Eva loves baking. We complement each other perfectly.

We would both really love to learn Italian. In school, we studied Latin, which gave us our first points of contact with the language. We are eager to use our English skills and learn new languages. In general, we would be happy to learn the basics of any language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are creative and skilled with our hands. As children, we loved playing outside most of all. We are not afraid to get our hands dirty. From a young age, we learned to step in and help wherever support was needed, and we were raised to be independent.

Marie is intelligent and solution-oriented. She stays calm and thinks carefully and thoughtfully about how to solve problems. She is well organized, disciplined, and ambitious.

Eva is highly motivated and inspires everyone around her. She is creative and thinks outside the box.

We make a great team because we have been in sync for many years and have overcome many challenges together. We also enjoy working with children; we both had summer jobs in a kindergarten, which we really enjoyed. Marie has recently worked for several months at a bakery, and Eva has worked at a supermarket.
We are open-minded, curious, and ready for new challenges.
