Hi everyone,

I'm Léonie, 25 and from France. I just finished my studies and I embarked on a solo backpacking trip in Latin America from September 2025 to an undefined period.

My friends would define me as very social, curious and proactive. As it's my first time on Workaway, i'm eager to find my first places where i could help an hand and experience friendly moments. I lived 6 months in Ireland, one year in Germany and travelled solo around Europe, using most of the time the app Couchsurfing to meet and build connections. That's why interculturality and multicultural environments are bubbles where i feel myself comfortable :)

Otherwise, I am passionate about music. I have been playing the guitar for 15 years and listen to all kinds of music styles. If the opportunity shows up, i would be definitely in to play together and share my skills. I like learning new things as well as new languages, new boards games, sports etc.. I can speak French, English and German fluently, Spanish as intermediate and Chinese as a beginner. However i'd be delighted to share my mother tongue and learn new languages !! Rather an outdoorsy person, i spend a lot of time to walk, hike and observe the nature and animals as long as i can see them when i arrive in a new place.

Currently travelling in South America, i'm ready and curious to meet the hosts that would be ready to welcome me for a few weeks :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I just graduated in Political Sciencel in France. I can speak French, English, German, Spanish as intermediate and Chinese as beginner. Of course i could help you manage some French. I'd be also open to hear and learn other languages.

I have already travelled a bit in Europe and Asia. I am quite curious and I follow a lot of economic, political and cultural news! History, Geography and foreign languages were my favourite subjects at school.

In the summer, I work as an animator in holiday camps, it's my student job. I like to take care of children of all ages and especially to spend time with them, to discuss, to learn a new language, to have exchanges and to organise outings/activities with them.

I am also passionate about music and singing, which I could share with you if you wish. I can also cook simple dishes and help in the garden. In general, I can adapt to many tasks as long as I enjoy a rich cultural and linguistic exchange :)

Generally in my life, I'm rather a people person and like to meet new people. I look forward to meeting you, making new friends and having enriching cultural experiences.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games, going out and hiking on weekends, watching movies, playing the guitar and chatting with others. I look forward to meeting new people from all over the world :)
