Description
Hey, I'm Leah, 29 and a solo traveler from Germany.
I'm an adventurous, mostly happy, chatty, honest and open minded traveler. I am always striving for a new experience, new places and new people to meet. I'm outgoing most of the time but need some alonetime to recharge every now and then.
My happy place is usually a forest with lots of green and/or mountains (and ferns!) or a beach! I like to be out in nature in general and appreciate some hiking and a good view.
At the moment I'm a work and traveller in Australia since Feb '25 and will continue to stay for at least another year and eventually do a proper world trip after that :).
I have an extensive background in all sorts of hospitality and I'm also a qualified cabinet maker/carpenter if that can be of any use, I'm happy to help!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
First of all, I'm open and curious for almost every kind of work!
I am a german qualified cabinet maker/carpenter and a german qualified hotel specialist. I have worked in all different departments of a hotel, mostly reception and waitressing but also cleaning and other. Also worked on a cruise ship for 6 months straight as a travel guide, including looking after the ships high rope climbing course. I've worked at Christmas market stalls, worked as a gardener on Australian mine sites/refineries, drove a chaser bin tractor for a grain harvest and also worked as a labourer/carpenter on a residential construction site in Australia.
And a lot of the work I've done was somewhere outside of Germany (UK, Switzerland, New Zealand, Canada, Australia).
I have done some house- & pet sits in Australia and am a big animal lover (had my own 2 cats back home)! Would love to make some more experiences with any kind of animals like a sanctuary or else.
When it comes to working with children I haven't done that professionally yet, but have way younger half brothers and friends with children and everyone always seemed to love me 🙂.
