Description

Describing myself is always a challenge because I'm constantly evolving, with new dreams, learning new things, falling in love with new places, making new connections, and diving into new adventures.

But one thing I can say for sure: experiencing different cultures has changed my life!

I've been living as an immigrant for 6 years now. When I first arrived in Portugal, my first country, I felt my soul come alive, and I realized that what nourished it was the thrill of discovery. I had the opportunity to see things I had dreamed and longed to see for a long time. I tasted foods, walked through streets brimming with culture, and often had to remind myself where I was because everything felt like a dream. I was constantly stepping out of my comfort zone, challenging myself, and realizing the extent of my capabilities.

Living in new realities makes the years pass by in the blink of an eye, yet they are as intense as ten years of a normal life. I've learned that living intensely is something once we taste, we can't let go of. We realize that time is short, and experiences and memories are among the few things we truly carry with us for the rest of our lives.

What brought me to Workaway?

I believe that in order to grow and improve ourselves, we need to learn from others and understand them. My lifelong dream has always been to explore the world, but not just as a tourist. I've always yearned to understand new cultures, customs, languages, flavors, smells, colors, and to experience genuine connections. So, that's why I'm here, proving that dreams do come true!

I am an open-minded person who is always willing to learn new things.

Over the past 2 years, I have been working as a graphic designer and social media, which has provided me with skills in technology, communication, photography, and event organization.

In addition to my professional experience, I have also been involved in charity and artistic projects, which has allowed me to develop teamwork and creativity skills.

I also have experience in healthy, plant-based and gluten-free food. However, I am open to work with all types of diets.

I love new challenges and learning new things, which makes me a versatile and adaptable person in various contexts.
