Description
Hello,
I'm a french horticulturist , in his almost sixties , and travel from time to time, when I do not work . (Garden center , plant nurseries, or gardener for private estates ).
I'm divorced and live on my own . I have two children , my son , 29 years old ,lives in Paris with his partner , and my daughter, 22 years old, lives in Lyon, studying psychology .
We use to leave in Tahiti, in french Polynesia , where my 2 children were born and raised .
By the time , we travelled in australia , New zealand, Hawaii, Canada,.
In different places , I give a hand to maintain the garden , or the veggie patch, or do house sitting as well , or both .
I speak French , English , and some Spanish .

Philippe was a joy and delight to host and spend time and share meals and conversation with. He lifted my spirits, showed care about his work on the farm and most definitely left it better than he found it. (Beautiful Riverbound Oasis - ...)
It was a great experience to live at Sophie’s place . Such a peaceful farm with free roaming animals , horses , cattle and alpacas ,grazing where they want to do . Sophie is always busy either in the kitchen or doing farm work . It was rewarding to help her and we achieved some work together in the veggie patch .

Phillipe was a great workawayer , he was polite respectful hard working and his knowledge of plants etc was a great help to us during his 2 week stay at our farm . He also cooked us a nice dinner and his positive attitute to life was awesome to be around - I would recommned Phillipe to anyone looking for a workawayer.

My 2 weeks stay at David and Jodie’s flower farm was excellent . I enjoyed the various work , learning about flowers growing , sharing my own horticultural experience with them . The accommodation is private , very spacious , great verandah , and with a great choice of vinyl records ( for those who know about records ) . You have plenty of time to… read more

Eve and Josep, are very friendly hosts, with the other workawayer we had such a great time in the evenings . Always keen to answer questions , any subjects. They live in a very beautiful and peaceful place .

Unfortunately Philippe had an accident and was unable to do very much. But he was pleasant and helpful and tried his best to cook ,help when possible and mixed well with the other workaways'.
His English is excellent and Spanish good.

Despite the fact I made an ankle sprain ,I enjoyed my time with Hipolito and Louise .
It is important to note that both spanish and english are used at the Finca . Sometimes , I struggle to talk to Hipolito ,as my spanish is a bit basic , but he is always patient with us .
Thanks a lot to you both .

I enjoyed my stay at Grace's typical farm house . It's a very quiet and peaceful place .
Grace and her son Peter , are an easy going family , very helpful , picking me up, or dropping me at bus station, or in town and so friendly . Peter and Grace are good cook , no to mention that Peter is a confirmed barista .

I very much enjoyed having Philippe to stay and am delighted with what he accomplished while here. I found him to be very pleasant, hard-working, obliging, and helpful with a good sense of humour and profound knowledge of growing and planting. He is a true gardener - and cooks too! Anja, Charlie and Lea are such kind persons .It's really easy to feel comfortable , as they are so helpful .At any inquiry , for food, transport , advices for short trip ... they managed to find an issue , either by calling a friend or a neighbor , by sharing al fruits and veggies from the farm , by driving me or picking me up .

Philippe stayed with us for nearly 3 weeks...too short! We had a fantastic time with Philippe. He is such a educated person, wonderful language skills, helpful all the time, knowing amazing things about plants and trees and loving them, hard worker, teaching our daughter in French, encouraging people, enjoying food...all in all...marvelous person.… read more

So many topics to chat , and she is so far so much knowledgeable .

I enjoyed this stay , Phil and Helen share their permaculture and brittany culture knowledge with many details and stories (lot of funny ones ) . evenings around the table and the ooni oven , with others workawayers were so much enjoyable . excellent .
