Hello!
Kayla here :) I am a thirty-one-year-old Canadian embarking on the adventure of a lifetime!
I started travelling 11 years ago and have a huge passion for exploring new places and seeing how people live all over the world.
I enjoy Workaway because it gives me the opportunity to have an immersive experience and gain life experience through volunteering.
I consider myself a hard worker and would love the chance to come help at your place :) In my free time I scuba dive, hike, paddle board, practice yoga, go out dancing, play board games, and enjoy delicious food with great friends!
Some other interests I have include musicals, movies, live music, and the arts in general. I am very enthusiastic about learning new skills and hobbies.

Mmakhi here! I grew up in England but moved to Australia at 18 years old. Now I have been living in and exploring Canada for the past 3.5 years. Some of my main interests include cooking, learning about and drinking wine, playing pool, and meeting new people.

We are both very curious people so we are very excited to try new things and learn new skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-I have tons of hospitality experience. My last job was in a high-end restaurant where I worked for 5 years.
I'm great with greeting guests, handling cash/card payments, balancing cash outs, cleaning, showing people around the city, cooking. I consider myself a hard worker and enjoy a challenge.
-I worked at a camp in Germany that hosted hundreds of tourists going to Oktoberfest which gave me experience at campsites as well as with tourists.
-I've cleaned/made beds in hostels
-I've bartended in casual settings and would be excited to bartend in a hostel bar.
-I've worked on farms, with animals as well as labour jobs.
-I also have lots of experience with children and was in school for that if you need help in that area.
-Another new found passion is weeding! I could weed your garden for hours, days, months, etc (I really enjoy it)
