Buenas días! My name is Katia. I'm a Russian-born Canadian. I lived in Guatemala in 2019 and have been looking to go back ever since. I fell in love with the people, the culture, and most of all, the beautiful Lake Atitlán.
This year I took a big leap and left my administrative career behind to begin a Kundalini Yoga teacher training course here in Toronto. Since I have this time free, I am taking this opportunity to revisit the beautiful land of Guatemala.
I consider myself to be a kind, open person. I value hard work and open communication. What I love most about travel and doing work exchanges is the opportunity to connect with new people and share some laughs.
In terms of skills, I bring experience in gardening, cooking, and caring for animals, particularly dogs. I am also well-versed in various computer applications, including creating marketing and branding materials.
I lead a healthy lifestyle, always strive to stay positive and optimistic, and I enjoy co-creating a fun group environment.
