Hi! My name is Karissa, I live in Alaska
I work as a travel nurse throughout the winter months and take off the summer months to travel.
I have done a few of Workaways in the US when I am road tripping and camping in my car. My first workaway was 6 yrs ago and I love coming back to it when I am traveling for longer periods of time to immerse in a place and meet new people. And even though I'm not working in my career don't be afraid to put me to work! I enjoy the overall experience, especially meeting new people, getting to explore new places and learn new skills.
My goals are set for Europe summer 2026 starting in July. I really want to learn some new skills and experience new cultures. Taking a break from the US would be a breathe of fresh air and I'd be so honored to be welcomed into your home.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

registered nurse, food service industry skills, cooking, cleaning, gardening, animal care (pets, and most farm animals) chopping and transporting wood, painting houses, some mechanical and carpentry skills(would love to learn more, I'm very intrigued by carpentry and try to do my own projects when I can). Willing to learn anything and easily adapt to new things!
