Hi, I’m Jess! I am a musician, artist, and outdoor enthusiast! I've been in Austria since July 2025.

I was born and raised on a farm in Alberta, Canada. I have a variety of work experience as a seasonal worker. Basic outdoor yard maintenance work, animal care, retail, restaurant, and administration. I have worked at my local ski hill for the past three years and have a passion for snowboarding and other summer and winter alpine sports. Looking forward to the Austrian snowboard season and looking forward to a work exchange with you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My strengths are being calm, sociable, brave, and adaptable. I'm a young and hungry 23 year old and I've tried many things and I'm never too afraid for a new challenge!

I enjoy both indoor and outdoor work. I thrive in busy and social environments. I was a maintenance worker for Alberta parks for a summer season and I have experience with farm work. I’m no stranger to cutting grass, weed whipping, garbage collection, taking care of animals, gardening, and operating small engine equipment.

I’ve had a variety of seasonal restaurant and retail jobs. I thrive in customer facing roles. I also have experience with caretaking tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and other general cleaning tasks. I’ve prepared food, bartended, operated POS systems, and more!

As an aunty to 11 children I also enjoy spending time with kids and being silly!

I love arts, culture, and sports. Travelling has been a rich experience of all three!

My favourite part about travelling is meeting new people and finding new experiences. A wise Aussie once told me ‘there are no strangers in the world- only friends you haven’t met yet.’
