hi! I am currently in New Zealand for a 1 year working holiday till Apr 2027. I'm taking a career break, away from corporate office work. Really look forward to exploring the lovely nature in New Zealand and experiencing farm life and all sorts of jobs to gain new life skills!

I love nature (especially rivers) and animals!
I enjoy sports, outdoor activities and crochet.
Back in Singapore, outside of my full-time job, I dance regularly and participated in productions and international competitions with my crew mates.
I also love solving puzzles (be it jigsaw, riddles or escape rooms!)
I love Winnie the Pooh!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My friends and co-workers often describe me as meticulous, diligent, patient and reliable. I am curious and love to find out about how things work and solve problems!
I am really looking forward to learning new skills and experiencing life in nature. Ready to do hands-on work and getting my hands dirty! I love animals and can't wait to learn more about farm life.

As a kid, my classmates would pass me their "jammed up" mechanical pencils, or tangled correction tapes, as they find it a chore but I really enjoyed fixing these things.
Till now, my friends and dance mates also look for me for little things like untying knots, fixing a malfunctioned luggage lock, or a broken bag strap.

I can sew, knit and crochet. I was known as the "sewing mama" in my dance team as people often needed to alter their costumes and come to me for help. Recently, I looked into the leaking toilet bowl at home and fixed it together with my dad.

When I was a teenager, during school holidays, I did a temporary job in a pre-school, where I taught the 5-6 year olds Chinese, and took care of the 3-4 years old in the after-school day care.

A bit about my education and professional career before I left to New Zealand for a 1-year working holiday:
I studied Engineering System and Design with focus track in Supply Chain & Logistics. After graduation, I worked in a Freight Forwarding company for 8.5 years as a Management Trainee (1.5 years) and Customer account manager (Local for 2.5 years, then Global for 4.5 years).

I speak fluent English and Chinese, happy to learn more!
