Hello!
I'm Grace, I am a 23 year old from Australia currently in Canada a two year working holiday visa with my two best friends. Looking for new workaways in August and September!

I grew up in Tasmania, a beautiful quiet island in the south of Australia, on an array of different properties and farms including a blueberry farm and a fairly large hobby farm. The farm provided produce for a local restaurant from our large garden, pigs, chickens and cows. I also attended a steiner school from grade 3-10 where I learnt a lot of gardening, building, and sustainable practices. I also partook in a wide range of outdoor education camps including multi-day hiking and would love to get back into outdoor activities during my time in Canada. My steiner education also provided me with a creative background and a focus on community and collaboration.

After the past few years in the city studying communications at university and working in hospitality I am craving some time on a farm or rural property, with physical and communal work, a beautiful area and slower lifestyle.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have extensive hospitality experience after close to ten years in the industry, providing me skills translating to a variety of industries and jobs. I have great interpersonal and communication skills as well as hard skills like cleaning, food handling and preparing drinks. Growing up on a small farm i have experience with feeding animals, fruit picking, gardening, yard work, painting and general labour. I am fast learner and hard worker and am eager to increase my experience and skills in all areas.

I am quite into sports and would be interested in any local social sports. I also love music and am eager to learn more instruments as i have a very basic level of piano and guitar but would love to improve.
