Heya! My names Violet, I'm 24 and from a small town in the south west of Western Australia.
*currently at a work away in BC working on a homestead with my two good friends, we have been doing garden work as well as cleaning & looking after some horses we have been loving the physical work & stunning surroundings!*
I have been working and living in Melbourne after finishing my bachelor degree in photography and marketing and am excited to get back to a quieter outdoorsy lifestyle while travelling Canada with my two best friends!
I grew up rurally near the beach, attending a Steiner primary school focusing on sustainability and creativity, enjoying an active outside upbringing, working on farms and helping with my parents orchard and expansive garden.
I am eager to work outside helping with gardening, property maintenance and farm animals as well as working inside cleaning, preparing food and taking care of any other chores that are required. I have a background in creative arts and would love to participate in any projects that need doing!
I am proactive and reliable and am excited to start my workaway journey!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have over six years experience in hospitality working calmly and efficiently in fast paced environments, waiting tables and serving patrons with a warm can-do attitude. Hospitality experience provides me with excellent and transferable communication, self management and teamwork skills as well as cleanliness, organisation and food and beverage handling.
I have worked with horses and on farms from a young age, where I cleaned stables, fed, groomed and looked after animals and growing up rurally means I have experience with gardening, fruit picking and general yard maintenance and organisation.
I have detailed and efficient cleaning skills, basic cooking abilities and am organised and proactive with house chores. I am resourceful and reliable with a strong work ethic and am very eager to learn any new skills coming my way!

I studied a bachelor of media and communications majoring in photography, so I am interested in continuing and expanding my photography practice as I travel and work around the world! I love music and drawing so will be keen to participate in creative projects and experience the local music scenes.
