We believe travelling is the most rewarding thing young people can do. Being open minded and educating yourself about different cultures and meeting people from all around the world is so important. Not only do you get to make lifelong memories/connections, you also have the chance to make a difference to people all around the world.

Our main motivation for travelling is to really make a difference wherever it is needed. Whether it's teaching English, working in an animal shelter, humanitarian aid, helping towards environmental conservation or anything in between. We hope to help in a variety of different causes.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Georgia: I've spent the past few years travelling and studying abroad. I started off in the UAE to gain my PADI Rescue certification and have since then worked at a restaurant/bar and cleaning apartments during a ski season in France. I have also worked for 2 summers at an American summer camp lifeguarding/teaching boating and living with/caring for a bunk full of children during the camp season and have extended my stay to pre/post camp to work during the retreat centre seasons. This work has involved many odd jobs such as cleaning, painting, kitchen work and generally helping the guests day to day.
At home (in the UK) i've worked in a restaurant/bar, administration/payroll for the NHS and in foreign exchange.

Gabriella: I have worked in a variety of roles around the world over the last couple of years. This has included working as an au pair/nanny for two seasons in a ski resort in France; two summers teaching textiles at a summer camp in New York and bar work in various places as well as working with animals at a dog day care.
Along side this, I have often worked in cleaning and house keeping roles, where my responsibilities vary from grounds keeping to helping in commercial kitchens as well as cleaning event areas and bedrooms. This has been at retreat centre’s, in hotels and homes.

Georgia: I've been travelling sporadically for a few years now, starting with short trips in Europe and more recently visiting/working longer term in the UAE, France and the USA. I'm currently working in the USA, and as the summer season is finishing up in October I'm planning on using workaway to help me backpack around Asia. I love meeting new people and learning about cultures and am so excited to travel some more!
I'm super interested in scuba diving and am hoping to complete my PADI Divemaster qualification within the next year. We're always up for games nights and would love to learn some new card games (and teach others our favourites!)

Gabriella: I have been working and travelling full time since leaving school at 18. Throughout this time, I have spent many months in Europe working in Tignes, a ski resort in France and road tripping around Italy. Recently I have visited Morocco (which has been a personal favourite), and travelled around the east coast and south of America. While working in upstate New York, I have been able to explore many local areas and nearby states.
