Hello, I’m Alyssa! I was born and raised in New York City, but my family is from Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

After several years of traveling and living in many places, I’ve found that I really enjoy taking my time and getting to know a place, it’s culture and people rather than just seeing the sights and moving on.

I am passionate about photography and storytelling and am always trying to incorporate my artistic practice into my life and travels.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Most recently I spent three months living and working at a remote fishing camp in the beautiful Kimberley region of Australia. I worked as a housekeeper and kitchen hand and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I also have experience working on a medicinal herb farm in Oregon, USA, and have spent many years working in restaurants in NYC as a waitress.

In summer of 2022 I spent five weeks taking a cob building workshop where we built a cob house from foundation to roof! very interested to learn more about natural building and carpentry in general

Some interests I would love to expand my knowledge in include cooking, baking, fermenting, plant medicine, mycology, natural building/carpentry, black smithing/ silver smithing, ceramics, gardening, foraging, sailing, music, Jungian psychology, climbing, alternative processes in photography, sewing/knitting, animal care, homesteading, and many other skills that would allow for a more self-reliant, sustainable lifestyle.
