Description
Hello! I'm Elli (25) from Finland.
I have mainly worked in tourism, most recently as a snowmobile guide in Finnish Lapland and an ATV guide in Iceland. Before that, I worked as a hostel receptionist in Amsterdam and at a campsite in Slovenia.
My volunteer experiences has mainly been on farms in the Azores and Italy. I really enjoy spending my days outside doing physical, hands-on projects. I have done lots of gardening and animal care, and played with children.
I also bought and built my own campervan, which is now my home and way of traveling. The plan is to chase the sun for the winter and drive from Iceland to South of Spain for the winter, and find farms or projects to help with along the way.
I’m especially interested in homesteading, cob houses, permaculture, animal care, and building projects. After long drives, I’m happy to settle in one place for a while, contribute, and learn new skills.
