Hi there!

My name is Elena and I am a 24 years old vet student from Switzerland.
I love being out in nature and around animals and I enjoy living the simple life.
I also like doing yoga, reading a good book and playing board or card games.

I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am experienced in taking care of animals: I grew up with cats, rabbits and guineapigs and am currently living with a dog. I have been horseback riding for almost 14 years now, so I am familiar around horses aswell. My experience with farm animals is limited, however I have been working on an alp with dairy cows and pigs for a good two weeks in summer 2023.

Besides my studies I am working weekends in a small animal clinic where I basically do the work of a veterinary nurse. Before doing that, I used to work weekends as a waitress.

After high-school I did an internship in a children's home for a year, where I learned a lot about teaching, taking care of and communicating with children.

I also like cooking and gardening and always love to learn about new skills. I am rather stress resistant, a quick learner and very motivated to do something out of my comfort zone. Despite being rather easy-going on most things I'm taking any chores assigned to me very seriously and am well aware of the responsibility that comes along with any chores concerning animals.

I'm usually a cheerful being with a lot of positive energy that loves to joke around and laugh a lot once I'm comfortable around people.

And last but not least: I'll happily teach you about swiss card games if you can gather three more people who would like to join ;)
