Hi!!

I am Eca and I live in Belgium :)

This year I am taking a break from university (I used to study psychology). The reason why, is because I wanted to learn about life and get to know myself in a different way.

I love travelling and discovering new places and people, I feel like I always have something to absorb from another human's life experiences. I am curious and enthusiastic about gaining new skills in general. One of my biggest passion is learning languages so I can connect with others. And lastly, I adore nature and animals.

Currently I am learning Dutch and I really want to practice it so I can improve my speaking while helping with tasks that ideally involve animal care.

So I thought that it would be great if I could mix my interests together in an experience. And then, I found this website who matches what I was looking for. -> Visiting a different place, meeting new people, helping, learning anoter language and new skills.

I grew up in the country side in Moldova. We worked in the yard, provided some of our own food, and were in contact with the earth, the nature, the animals. I feel very lucky because I had the chance as a kid to experience this life style. Very good memories. It shaped me as a person I guess. Now that I am older, I miss this closeness with nature.

A lot of things bring me happiness in life : as the nature, cooking healthy food, taking care of animals, dogs, spending quality time with my friends and family, playing sports. Building authentic relationships. Driving, since my dad is a professionnal driver, I am used to long roadtrips. I also enjoy cleaning the car lol. Going to the cinema, reading books, going to exhibitions, etc.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My skills :

I used to volunteer in a dogshelter, so I have some experience with dogs as, walking them, cleaning the boxes, feeding them, playing, dogsitting, etc.

Driving (manual and automatic).

I grew up in the country side in Moldova. I had to take care of and feed the animals. We had chickens, rabbits, goats, ducks, geeses, turkeys. They were all very cute. We also had to do the basic maintenance, keep the outdoors clean and pretty and also choping wood in the winter. Working outside is something that I enjoy. I like to put energy in the work and take directions by myself once I know the tasks I have to do.

Cooking (usually I cook vegetarian meals, but I can adapt to all kinds of regims).

Helping with any other task that requires to use my hands.
