Hello! I'm Claudia, I'm from Ireland (but travelling from Brussels) and this will be my first workaway.

I love being active, preferably outdoors, and I would really love to lend a hand on any and all tasks and learn lots in the process. I would also really like to speak as much French as possible. I speak fluent Spanish and English so I can help you with those!

I grew up in nature and after years of living in cities I need to get back to it! As a teenager I used to help out on farms and yards with general maintenance and the animals, and I am very experienced with horses. I'd really like to learn more about any kind of restoration and I am really looking forward to getting stuck in to some physical work, particularly outdoors! Mending fences, chopping wood, painting, gardening, cutting back bush, cleaning up after animals are all things I can do and enjoy and I'd love to learn more.

I have more than 10 years of experience looking after children of all ages, including children with special needs. I taught English at a children's STEM summer camp in Spain I also have 3+ years of service experience as a bartender and waitress. I have a BA in European History & Philosophy and an MA in International Relations.

In my spare time I love to cook and bake, I'm no master chef but I have a few good recipes! I love sports - I am an avid hiker and very keen to try new and difficult routes. In my down time you'll find me reading or crocheting - I'm not an expert but can teach beginner crochet if you'd like!

I can also help you with social media or communications if that's something you're interested in, but I'm quite keen to just disconnect and enjoy being around new people. I'm a flexible person and blend in well. Looking forward to getting to know you!
