Hello everyone!
We're Chloé and Jeanne, two French friends who have just left our respective jobs. We want to take advantage of the start of the new year to get away from the speed of the city and reconnect with nature while doing something useful. We're very keen to learn new things and to be able to work outside and get our hands dirty.
We've both really enjoyed Scandinavia on our previous visits, and can't wait to go back and enjoy winter surrounded by snow and a calmer pace of life.

A few words from each of us:

Jeanne: I'm passionate about agricultural issues and have worked on agricultural and food transition topics from a political angle. I've had several woofing experiences in the past, notably in permaculture and animal care, and I'd like to renew the experience this winter. I enjoy hiking, reading and playing cards, spirituality and looking after animals.

Chloé: Originally from the South of France, I love the sea and peace and quiet, but I also adore the mountains and hiking. I've been skiing since I was very young, but I'd like to develop a different approach to the snow-covered mountains, and take the time to get to know this environment better in winter. Like Jeanne, I've worked in ecology from a political angle. I love meeting new people and learning from community life, I like to read, and I'm a good worker.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Chloé : I've worked as a waitress for many periods of my life. I'm comfortable with hospitality, service and customer contact. I have an affinity for organization and project management. Overall, I'm resourceful and able to adapt to a variety of tasks.
Jeanne : I've already had the opportunity to do several workaway experiences in the past: in permaculture so I'm quite comfortable with gardening but also with animals (chickens, donkeys and horses). In addition, I did 7 years of horse riding, so I'm at ease with horses and other animals of similar size!
