Hey ! I'm Catriona, I grew up in the french speaking part of Switzerland close to nature and mountains, which is the reason my enthusiasm for mountains, climbing, trekking, skiing and many other sports keeps growing and makes me seek for new adventures.
With a German mum, and Scottish dad, home as always been a mix of cultures and languages which has boosted my interest for meeting new people and learning from their customs, values, traditions and their passions.
I just finished High school in Geneva and finishing a gap year in which I traveled and discovered South America ( Argentina, Chile an Ecuador) where I fufilled the goal to speak Spanish fluently;)
The mix of culture, mountains, food, animals, people and language makes me want learn more about it :))

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love looking after/ taking care of children and animals, I easily fit in to different situations and love to have a laugh.

I am a ski instructor in the winter so I am use to taking care of groups and being creative when it comes to vary activities and do sports.
I take pleasure in working outside, building things, paint, decorating and farm work.
To travel and learn new languages, habilities I came across volunteering my first experience in Costa Rica (2023) at sea turtle rescue center taught me so much that I joined Workaway and volunteered throughout my gap year in Argentina and Ecuador. All opened my eyes to different aspects of life, and gave me more experience in diy tasks and hosting.
I've worked in a restaurant and in events for 3 months, had jobs in my home village which included gardening and various tasks of general maintenance.
I like to step out of my confort zone, as well physically as mentally. If you are looking for a easygoing girl, able to help you with any kid of work, and who is always looking to learn languages and have deep conversations, I might be a good fit for you and your team/family.

I love sports, in the moment i mostly climb indoor and hike, but I love other sports like skiing, mountain biking, running, football, surfing, snowboarding, swimming, pilates...
I like to draw and play board games, but mostly when I am alone I usually read or do sudokus.
