Hey! I'm Alice, 24 and from England :)
I am an animal lover, enjoy being in nature, and a keen reader! I also love art projects and DIY.
Exploring new places outside of my comfort zone is what my heart desires - the best decisions are generally the scariest ones to make!
I feel happiest when I'm in nature, whether it be on a beach or in the countryside.
As well as working in hospitality for many years, I have also worked in healthcare as a health advisor and care-giver, I'm a returning volunteer to a cat sanctuary, I've worked and volunteered in hotels & hostels doing housekeeping and reception shifts, and also completed a young life-guarding course. I still consider myself a strong swimmer who enjoys being in water - a lot!
A key motivation for me is job satisfaction and sense of accomplishment; whether it be from learning a new skill, or perfecting an old one! I'm active and reasonably strong, and always willing to give something a go, but equally I know when to ask for help! I consider myself an efficient, organised worker, and will really get stuck in.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
-As a returning volunteer to a cat sanctuary, I now have vast knowledge in animal welfare, administering medication, reporting changes in behaviour or symptoms, sanitisation and deep cleans of animal cages, and trapping of animals for TNR purposes.
-From Nov 2021 to May 2024, I was a supervisor in a restaurant. It gave me so much confidence in leadership, thinking on my feet, using my initiative and also team work (solving problems as a collective, delegating, and being there for the rest of the team.)
-I have also done care work in the past, which although was very difficult at times, is the best job I've had. Knowing you've made a positive difference to someone's day, building trust and creating friendships with those I cared for, made it the most rewarding and enriching job I could've asked for.
-Growing up I have always helped my mum with DIY around our home. I have also done work experience with a painter and decorator, which included tasks such as stripping wallpaper, painting, fitting carpets and using power tools. Even though I would still consider myself a beginner, I love learning tips and tricks to better my DIY skills.
-I hold a full UK manual driving license, and have been driving for over 5 years.

I really enjoy yoga, and try and do it daily. I also love bouldering/rock climbing, as well as wild swimming. All of which go hand in hand with my love of nature and the outdoors. I also love art, such as painting/drawing in my spare time, as well as reading.
